WHAT TO DO WHEN THERE’S SO LITTLE TO DO Art Journal pieces

WHAT TO DO WHEN THERE’S SO LITTLE TO DO

I don’t know what to call this piece of Writing.  It’s sort of Journaling.  Um, no.  It’s sort of a Thought for the Day.  Um, no.  It’s kind of recording my Wisdom of Years.  Um, definitely no.

SO VERY MUCH has climbed into our Awareness lately (“Lately” meaning maybe for almost six years to two days ago.) that even people like me who love to wander around right brain/left brain activity have run out of a fair amount of energy.

Now, I still pay attention.  I know what’s going on.  I still have feelings about all of this.  I continue to insist on holding on to “the thing with feathers” (thank you, Emily Dickinson).

When it comes to this Blog (which I don’t know if anyone even pays attention to, but I don’t mind; it’s good for me each month to “just DO it”), and, actually, my day-to-day life, I’m finding I’m spending a lot of time with shape and color and a few words.  This month, I’m sharing the next nine pieces of the Art Journal that I’m creating.

I think I told you last month that I’ve been You-Tubing quite a bit about Mixed Media, and am trying to extend my “creative efforts” into this Art Journal work.  (I’ll probably get back to the Mandalas again at some point.)  I’m not trying to make a particular point.  It’s more that putting together these Pieces moves me further toward my Next Right Step.

Feel free to look at these.  But I want to say two more things:  also feel free to find your own ways of coping with the uniqueness of these days, and I would welcome you sharing on this Blog  your ways of maintaining well-being in these challenging times.  We can each of us use new ideas.

Namaste to each of you.

Oh, and one piece of “preaching” – VOTE, VOTE, VOTE – all the way down the Ballot.
